Working in oil pastels, color or graphite pencils, Rebecca Collins brings a high degree of realism and rich, saturated color to her paintings. Many of her works have been portrait commissions of both pets and people. Family groups, children, and parents - in memorial or celebration - have been portrayed. Painting sailboats is another passion - as are vintage trucks. Whether it is the play of light on the water or the oxidation of old painted metal, Rebecca Collins finds fascination in the colors to be captured.
